小学英语说课稿
Good morning everyone. It’s my pleasure to present my lesson.
The teaching content is Read and write of Unit 4 ,PEP Primary English ,book 6. The title is Two new kittens.
Now, I will explain the lesson from the following parts.
Firstly, let’s focus on the teaching material. It focuses on the topic of When is Easter, in this period, students meet Sarah’s diray, it serves as a summery of this unit. In the diary, there are four days, as time goes by , students see the changes of the kittens and learn how to read and write.
Then I design 3 aims:
① The first one is language knowledge. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read and recognize the diary; will be able to finish read and match, and write the sentences independly.
② The second one is language skills. To develop Ss’ abilities of understanding the words in a sectance, and using the words correctly,such as:because, still,noise,fur and so on.
③ The third one is emotional aim. To foster the feeling of enjoying life.
According to the main instructional aims of this lesson, I think the key-points of this lesson is:
To make sure that Ss can read the diary,and know how to write a diary. To help the Ss learn the words in the sentances and use the words correctly.

Next, I am talking about the students, They are active and curious, interested in new things. They can express the basic English and talk with each other shortly.
Fourthly, let’s focus on the teaching procedures. It includes 4 steps. so I will explain them step by step. Step 1. Warming-up and Lead-in It will cost about 5 mins. (1)After greeting, I will begin the lesson by free talk.
(2)Show the vedio of the cats, students have a glips of the lesson. Purpose:
The free talk is related to the topic, so it can form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss. The vedio is about the cats’ life , it will give students a impact of the lesson. Step 2. Presentation It will cost about 20 mins. (1) paragraph 1 read and circle
The Ss read it quietly, and circle the answers for the three questions: When is kittens’ birthday? What colour are they? Can they see? From the second answer,They are pink, why? Help ss to use”because”
From the third answer:they still can’t see. Help students know: What’s the meaning of “still”.
(2) paragraph 2 read and underline

According to the questions:
When they are 6 days old, what colour are they? Why? What do they do when they are hungry?
Ss can underline the main answers ,then learn the new words:noise and fur (3) paragraph 3 and 4 read 、match and write
According to the questions: when are their eyes open? When can they walk? Ss can finish the exercises below. Purpose:
In each paragraph, teacher give them some questions to help them read. The purpose of this is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of reading ,understanding and writing.
Let’s go to (4) read and follow.
After ss understanding the whole diary, follow the tape,and read it in groups. (5)try to read the diary and retell it according to the blackboard Purpose:
Read and retell the diary help ss make a conclusion of the lesson, and check them wether they have learned the lesson
Step 3. Development It will cost 13 mins,
I will show a group photos of my daughter ,such as:birthday photo, a month, 3months, 6months,9months and a year,and all the photoes have the detail date. Give ss a language structure, ask them work in pairs and describe them

simply.
The structure is: I am__. My birthday is on Feb. 5th. I can smile on Mar. 5th . I can sit on…. Purpose:
The development can improve the ss abilities of describing the pictures. Proper competition can arouse Ss’ interest in English learning. Group cooperation can develop their team spirit.
Step 4. Homework It will cost 2 mins,
(1) read the diary correctly and try to retell the diary according to the time. (2) Find 4 photoes and describe them simply. Purpose:
The purpose of this is to cultivate their abilities of summarize and independence.
And, this is my layout design. From when, what , how, Student can make sentences or retell the diary with the phrase. That’s all my presentation. Thank you!
